The Rembau District Council is a local governing body established on 1st July 1980 through the Government Gazette Declaration No. 334 on 23rd June 1980. It is a local governing body under the Local Government Act 1976 (Act 171). The Rembau District Council is an authoritative Local Authority (PBT) whose main focus is to act as the driving force behind making Rembau a beautiful and developed district. The development of the administrative area is aligned with the overall development of Negeri Sembilan, with a particular emphasis on the industry, tourism, and agricultural sectors. The rapid establishment of infrastructure also helps attract local and foreign investors, thereby increasing capital and providing more employment opportunities for the community.
