As the new property owner, you are required to attend the Rembau District Council and change the name within the following periods:
3 months from the date of obtaining the Land Ownership Certificate (land title) or 1 year from the date of death.

As of 1st November 2022, the State Government of Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus now offers a minimum compound rate to all new property owners who have yet to inform the Local Authority (Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan or PBT) about the transfer of property ownership..
