REPLICA OF RAJA MELEWAR PALACE

- Replica of Raja Melewar Palace was opened to the public since September 2004. The 2.4 million worth replica was the results of efforts by Rembau District Office with the help of the Ministry of Cultural, Arts and Heritage. The aim of the construction of the replica is that it would function as historical tourism object so that it reminiscent to the original structure of Raja Melewar Palace which was once existed at the site. Rembau District Office had proposed to the State Government of Negeri Sembilan that museum fulfillment is entrusted to the State Museum Board with the concept and objective that go well with the background of the building and history of Rembau.
GUNUNG DATUK RAINFOREST

- Guning Datuk is the highest peak of the district with over 2,900 feet height and in this mount as well situated the original spot of the Merbau tree that initiated the name of the district. Hikers that reach the peak could enjoy a wide view of the western part from the mountains of Sungai Ujong across the coastal area to the Straits of Malacca. This mount is also rich with its legends; among others is its lower ground that keeps the legend of Hang Tuah the Malay knight, who was said to take a break there before continuing his journey to Tanjung Tuan.
